Placed a new antenna in attic because I wanted to get local TV stations (working great) AND to get local radio stations on my stereo receiver (not working). Antenna marketed to receive FM signal. I have a coaxial splitter with one cable going to TV (antenna input) and the other to my receivers antenna input (coaxial cable) just behind cabinet. I did have to place antenna amplifier on line by the antenna to get signal (cable does run over 50 ft) for TV. I am stumped as to why it is not working for stereo receiver

Solution
Some antenna amplifiers do not pass FM. Some have a switchable FM trap. Try bypassing it to find out.
Also since FM is not in the range of digital TV the antenna may not work or work well even if it says it does.
I would suggest a separate FM antenna.
Or better yet use the internet for local and internet radio. Sonos works great but you could try an Alexa Dot or Chromecast Audio which are much cheaper.

I'm having a similar problem. I bought a last GE digital antenna meant to be in attic but was misinformed and told it would also be a great FM antenna which it is not. I'm trying to find a quality FM antenna for my Sony receiver
