Solution
A lot of the streams that KODI links to don't work all the time. Doesn't mean that your internet connection is bad. Try a different KODI add on and see what happens. Exodus is very popular.

I have a similar problem where none of the apps in kodi find streams (including exodus). If i try google play it says no servers available same for uTube. However, if i go to the browser i can surf the internet. Is it possible that my ISP (same as my Cable TV provider) is blocking me as everything worked fine the first day I installed it.

try installing a VPN on your android box, they stop your internet provider from monitoring what you're streaming and seem to cut dowen on buffering.Tip,do not download the free VPN's they do not work worth a damn, you can get a VPN for as little as $8/month

I purchased that box about a year or so ago and it worked fine with my Bell internet wifi. However I just switched to Rogers and I had real problems with it - It says it is connected, then the connection drops, then it reconnects, then drops again etc.. I ended up hard wiring it to the Ethernet and it works like a charm now. This is posted as a fix, but it never really worked for me

I have the same issue. All streams from kodi and other aps worked fine before 7 days ago and then it just refused. No internet connection available but has wifi connection. I have 2 mxq boxes and both are saying the same thing.
