Sorry about the confusing title I wasn't sure how to best describe the problem. I'm using MS Publisher and it's been working fine up to now however when I go to type something now it types something completely different.
For instance, if I type "what the [watch it]" it types: [ ] v i i ] Zj ] X '
?????????
Also, if I highlight the text and put it into bold or italics, it comes up as it should - so it's not a hardware issue as some of the other forums have been alluding to. My keyboard is working fine on Chrome, and on Word/Excel too - and in other fonts on Publisher, and also in other pages on Publisher....
I've tried using the FN option and I've also tried changing language settings but it still happens.... any idea?
I'm using a HP laptop running Windows 10
