hello,
I have a hp au003tx laptop and I have this problem that during gaming when the laptop is plugged it runs perfectly but when the adaptor is unplugged the games start lagging.
I've tried everything but not able to solve it

Solution
When the laptop detects that it is no plugged into an A/C outlet (running on the battery), automatically slows down the CPU and GPU to conserve power. That is how laptops are designed operate.

You can go into your power options to set the CPU to run at 100% when on battery and the GPU to run at maximum performance on battery. But doing may still limit the GPU when running on battery which is why games will lag.

It's really either or. If it's lagging, it has a lot to do with your internet connection. From personal experience, my laptop started lagging once and then I reset my Wi-Fi modem, and then it was working back to normal!
