If I want to be doing tasks such as programming heavy programs, running things like hashcat to crack hashes, heavy gaming (kinda), etc. so far these are the ones I found (it has to be from this site, I've got a $1k gift card and I will pay another 1k on top, otherwise I'd go to NewEgg)

https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/msi-apache-pro-173-core-i7-6700hq-gaming-notebook-256gb-ssd-gtx-960m-4gb-ge72-6qd-481-msi/ - MSI Apache Pro 17.3" Core i7-6700HQ Gaming Notebook 256GB SSD GTX 960M-4GB (GE72 6QD-481)

https://www.kogan.com/au/buy/asus-rog-173-fhd-i7-1tb-128gb-ssd-gtx-970m-gaming-notebook-g752vt-gc060t-asus/ - ASUS ROG 17.3" Full HD i7-6700HQ 8GB RAM 1TB HDD + 128GB SSD GTX 970M 3GB Gaming Notebook

And also, does anyone know how many FPS those would get on minecraft or csgo with high settings? Can they run bo3?

Thanks

hi,
To answer your question, i would say ASUS is better overall. I mean with MSI you get a bigger SSD and a slightly faster HDD but ASUS has the better GPUand is cheaper as well. So, i would choose ASUS.

To get an idea about the kind of performance to expect:

ASUS (970M)
http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-970M.126694.0.html

MSI (960M)
http://www.notebookcheck.net/NVIDIA-GeForce-GTX-960M.138006.0.html

EDIT: I realize you are restricted to that particular site but i'm gonna leave the following as an FYI anyway :)
I'm not familiar with AU prices but those laptops seem to be on the expensive side for what's on offer (970m and 960m are based on previous gen Maxwell architecture). If you can manage it, I would highly...

If you can manage it, I would highly recommend getting one with GTX 10 based GPU. Can you give me your budget and some sites you visit and may be i'll be able to help you shortlist something better?

a quick search yielded the following:
http://www.shoppingexpress.com.au/buy/msi-ge62vr-apache-pro-15.6-128gb-gtx1060-laptop/6RF-051AU

i7-6700HQ
GeForce GTX 1060 with 6GB GDDR5
DDR4 8GB
1x 128GB SSD
1x 1TB SATA HDD
$2,190.00

Also, i'm not sure abt the reputation of the site but you can get something with nice specs like:

cheers
