Hey guys, I just did an install of windows 10 on my Stream 11 laptop and my touch-pad is

not responding, Ive read many many posts on this problem and have tried many solutions, like

updating all of the drivers, activating it through the control panel (It wont show up under the

mouse settings), Ive even tried taking it apart and checking the wired connections!! I also noticed

that as soon as I booted up the Windows Installer the touch-pad was not responding, I thought I

just needed the drivers. I just cant seem to find a solution. If anyone can help, please do. I will try

just about anything. Thank you in advance!!

Here are some troubleshooting steps that may help in resolving the issue.
- Do a hard reset first, remove the battery and AC adapter then press and hold the power button for 20 seconds then check weather the touchpad will work again after the reboot.
- If this will not work connect an external mouse and see if it will work and if will work uninstall/reinstall the TouchPad driver from Device Manager.
- Uninstall it from Device Manager and reboot the laptop and that should reinstall the driver automatically.
- If this will not work there's a shortcut key to enable or disable the touchpad. Try fn + F11.
- If all these will not work do run a complete factory reset.

Did you try downloading the software for the mouse? Go to your original nanufaturer website and go to support. Find your laptop and download the original driver for the mouse

Try this https://www.hwinfo.com/
if it does not work I am also trying to find something a little different so if it does not fit your need, do not worry as something else is also coming

I got it to work, there is a certain driver that needs to be from the laptops website and you can only use that driver, if you try to update it, it will stop working.

I did all steps except hard rest. Someone mentioned Fn+ F11 to unlock it, but on my keyboard there was an image on F7, that looks like a locked touchpad. If you look closer on your laptop keyboard you might have the same imagine button. After pressing Fn+7( on my Acer laptop), it seemed to work again
