What are the dangers when I leave a TV monitor for 2 weeks or longer? It is an old CRT color 21-inch RCA television set.

Solution
If the image doesn't change for long periods of time it will burn that image into the CRT permanently. If the image is not stationary then you would just put wear on the TV faster than normal use.
Considering the age of the TV I would not worry about it much. You can usually find TVs like that on the curb for free on garbage pickup days.

Why worry about it, you can find another one in the dumper! :D

Unless this is a studio quality, professionally calibrated, to be placed next to your $10,000 tube amplifier.
