Hi i have recently bought asus zenbook pro ux501vw and the hdd is making noises ,i checked it with cyberdiskinfo and it showed caution status, i've read some places that it shows my hdd is failing.
I really cant afford to lose any data
I was wondering can i change the hhd with a ssd? Is that even possible?
I mean can i have two ssd on my laptop?
What kinds of ssds my laptop supports?
(Ps it has a 128 gb ssd running on the laptop and it workd just perfect)

Solution
Yes you can easily replace the failing drive with an SSD, it's nothing more than a hard drive. The laptop will work with any SSD on the market that has the same interface as the drive you are replacing, which is a standard SATA laptop hard drive. If that 128 gb SSD is the main boot drive, you should be able to simply remove the second drive and install the SSD, then enable it and create a partition for it in disk manager.
