Solved! Info on a TEAC SA-200 Amplifier and ST-200 AM/FM Stereo Tuner?

I literally just found a TEAC SA-200 Integrated Amplifier and a TEAC ST-200 AM/FM Stereo Tuner. Someone threw them out, but they seem to work just fine. So far I hooked up my pair of Zenith SRF711B 2 way speakers (15watts) to it and I can definitely confirm the amp has more power than 15w. I can't turn it past 2 with out my speaker's voice coils clacking the magnet. I can't find anything on the system, and I would like to know at least what the watts per channel is so I could get a decent pair of speakers for it without worrying about blowing them. Anyone know of this model? Anyone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a hunch that model may be too old though, Teac may have removed all support for it.

15w is PC-category, bookshelf. An integrated amp can easily put out 60w. Get some honest-to-God, no-toy speakers. You are playing with stuff beyond Logitech.

Does anybody know if it has a protection circuit? I know my previous system (Sony MHC-GX450) had a protection circuit which made it hard to blow speakers, also why my Zenith speakers have lasted so long. But this amp appears not to have one, or if it does, it hasn't kicked in.

The protection circuit in the Sony was to protect the electronics not the speakers. They did match the power of the amp so you didn't have enough power to damage the speakers. Power ratings on mini systems are not standardized so they can basically lie as much as they want to. The spec on the Teac receiver is standardized.

Update: I got a pair of Fisher DS-825's. The tweeters and mids were both replaced, but the system is still 100w (I checked to make sure) and today I played some bass heavy music over the system and the volume was at 4. My room now smells like burnt copper, the speakers aren't blown yet but were very close to being feneeto.
