I have a PSU rated at 750w, after browsing online i have found an mono amplifier rated at 800w RMS and a subwoofer rated at 600w RMS.

will my powersupply work with the amplifier and subwoofer considering the subwoofer is only rated at 600w RMS?

Solution
It might work but likely will limit the amount of volume you can get. The PS might shut down or blow up since it's not really adequate. You might need as much as a 1600w PS.
A PC power supply is different than the 12v system in a car. Less current.
The 800w mono amp uses more than 800w to produce power since it isn't 100% efficient.
If you have to buy the sub and amp I would say just buy a home subwoofer. It's designed for a room not the interior of a car. Usually sounds better. Don't worry about how much power it has. That doesn't tell you how loud it can play. Car subs usually need more power because the highly inefficient speaker is designed for a small cabinet.
