I have a Asus laptop that suddenly would not power up or charge when plugged in. I looked up solutions and tried resetting it by unplugging the battery and holding the power button. Well, it worked and everything seemed fine for a couple of days and then it happened again. So i took it to a shop and the guy told me it could be the charger, so i bought a new one (generic) and he reset the laptop again and it worked again for a few days but it happened once again, so i took it to the same place and this time the guy said he removed every component and only then he could charge it and power it up.
After this time it was working properly for about 5 days and i thought i was in the clear. I would wait until battery was low to charge it, charge up to 100% and unplug it. But then i started getting random reboots, after running event viewer i found a critical error code WHEA Logger. I am not sure what to do next. Any help/guidance will be greatly appreciated

i think on my oldests laptop the battery is like 30% worn out so to speak.. so it only holds 70% of the charge it did when it was new. thing about laptop batteries is... they're expensive.. and its not a very cost effective solution.. people say its better to just take that money and put it towards a newer laptop

Samaratin,
The battery usually lasts about 2 hours with moderate use of adobe suites (mid-high gpu, ram and cpu usage) which made me disscard the battery being the issue. Would the battery's ability to hold charge not be affected by it?

Bellow what percentage should i replace the battery? And could the WHEA Logger error be directly related to the battery malfuncioning? I read a bit about it and people state that its a problem with voltage and having OC cpus. Mine has ever been overclocked. Thank you
