Which is better for light gaming and 4K video binging

Solution
The Radeon R7 (Kaveri) graphics core is the most powerful in the FX-7500 APU while the nVidia 820m is the weakest based on how Notebookcheck.net ranks GPUs. See link below for benchmarks of the Radeon R7 (Kaveri), Intel HD 620, nVidia 820m and the nVidia 920m. Note that while the Radeon R7 is ranked higher than the Intel HD 620, the Intel HD 620 does beat it in some of the game benchmarks.

Depends on what games you want to play on it.
I would assume you should stick with the second choice since the 2017 laptop only offers a 1366x768 resolution, meaning you can only play games at 720p. (I think other light gamers would prefer 1080p; the most serious ones would stick with 4K resolution.

*Don't let me be the only judge. Get a second opinion before you decide.

when considering gaming (not casual / browser based) you will benefit greatly from a decent gpu. I don't consider intel hd graphics decent. Kaveri fx 7500 is fine , but hard to find. best of luck.
