Hello. I have a problem opening .jpg files. I've searched around the internet for a few days for solutions...without success. So the pictures were ok before and after I installed windows (clean install). But after 2-3 days I noticed that I am unable to open some of them and as time went on more and more became 'corrupted'. As I said, I searched this topic but none of the responses helped me. None of my image viewers open them. The file data looks ok. It has the normal size and every other information. Windows Photo Viewer, for example, writes that it is too large or corrupted or damaged. Same issue on Windows 10, 7 and Slax linux.

Any help appreciated because those are sweet memories and I would like to recover them. Also Happy New Year! :-D

I've scanned my pc with Avast Nod32 and MS Security Essentials. They didn't find any viruses. Now I'm trying to delete the photos and then recover them. Maybe that will help.

Scan with Malwarebytes anti malware it is different stuff than virus scanning.
