I am having a problem where when I click the double click button on my mouse it brings up the run command and autotypes baidu.com and go to the webpage. This temporarily disables my mouse (I have to click and wiggle it around to get it to respond again). I have searched and searched for a fix with no working results. I've tried editing the registry and even downloading software to help get rid of it. I have also restarted pc, cleared cookies, etc. I am out of ideas and I've always found answers on tomshardware so I came here for a solution. A fix would be awesome.

Update: Ive tried the following from another thread but have no "directory" file.

"OK that helps. Take a look under;
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell

You should only have 'find' but I'll bet you also have 'open' Backup the
'shell' key though regedit export then try deleting 'open' subkey."

Also I am running Windows 10 pro.

Hey drunkgamer83,

I have done a little research and it seems Baidu.com is a Skype scam that has been affecting users. Baidu.com it self is a Chinese web services company (but it may not be them acting maliciously). As far as I can tell it is not a HUGE security risk but is is close to adware and is definitely spam. A lot of people have been affected by the same issue so don't worry you aren't the only one.

Best way to get rid of this issue is:

Download Malwarebytes ADWCleaner (Its Free - Acts as a very good adware cleaner)

https://www.malwarebytes.com/adwcleaner/

Download HerdProtect (Its Free - Acts as a great malware, virus, etc scanner. You must have internet connection.)

Download Malwarebytes Junkware Removal Tool (Its Free - Removes Junkware from browsers, shortcuts, etc.)

And just to make sure you don't have any nasty Rootkits, download Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit and do a scan.

Give all that a go and you should have no issue. You will need to restart your PC.
