Im not looking for an antivirus, but for a program that blocks all those other advertising programs that try to install themselves, most of them coming when you try to download one thing and it comes bundled with that thing. Or the page where you try to download one file is trying to fit their own program in that file too. Some others try to change your homepage or inserting links in the browser desktop and many other small things that I cant remember right now.

This is basically for PCs used by non experienced users that get all of that shit.

Antiviruses usually never care about these programs and are useless for this. You could have a perfectly healthy virus free pc with tons of popups and advertising programs that installed themselves.

*edited for better explaining.

Solution
For a lot of basic applications, ninite.com.
It automatically disallows all those addon things.

For all other applications, just use your brain. During the install, do NOT just accept the defaults.
Select Custom or Advanced, and read every dialog box that appears.

Erm, sorry, could you reword your post?
I'm trying to help but i'm finding it very hard to understand.
Are you asking if free anti-viruses are worth the tiny performance hit?
Free anti-viruses like AVG and Malwarebytes are very good, and they are worth slowing the system down by say 1% if it means that you don't get some infectious malware which'll screw up your whole system.

AdBlock Plus?

There's nothing that does that for applications, they're internal, you can't block those.
If you're getting popups on your desktop you have malware or a registry virus on your PC that's either added itself to the exclusion list of programs and directories, or been purposefully installed along with a dodgy downloaded file, nothing to do with other antiviruses if you let it in yourself.

Giving admin privileges to programs is like giving them a backdoor if they're malicious.
