Trying to find a good laptop for my soon to be 16 year old sister. She isn't a heavy gamer so I don't need anything beefy like Alienware. She plays mostly Sims 4 and a lot of steam games and she also will need to do her homework on it. The past laptops I've bought her have been around $500, most recent one was by Dell and it sucked horribly. Only lasted about 8 months until it would no longer turn on. I'm willing to pay double that amount to get her something that will last and won't slow down as soon as she downloads 1 game.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01DT49XN8/?tag=lapninj-20 this will do just fine, a decent i7 laptop processor along with a decent GPU which will be able to run sims 4 with ease, Not sure what steam games she plays but its a 960M I have a laptop with a 970M and a better i7 and it runs games really really well, this laptop should suffice. Also comes with a 512gb SSD for faster loads (upgradeable) if possible that laptop may have an extra HDD space to put in a regular Hard drive for more storage.
