I have Nero Video 2016 that I am using to make a Blu-ray from a MKV file. The movie is only 1hr 45 min . No special menus. Just basic 2D non motion. I have most settings on Automatic fit to disc because earlier attempts with custom setting lead to multiple fails. It has been transcoding for 12 hrs so far with ETA of 14 hrs to go. This can't be normal. A day to a make a 25G Blu-ray? I see threads of people complaining of it taking as long as the movie and they are upset. I would kill to have it done in real time. Anyone know if this is normal for Nero or if there is anything that can be done to speed up the process. I want quality but I can't tie up my main computer for a day. Here's what I have: Windows 10 Processor: Intel(R) CPU G3220T @2.60 GHz RAM: 16.0GB System: 64 bit , x64 based processor

Thanks in advance for any comments or advice that may help.

Your CPU is on the (very) low side - just two cores. If you are trying to master 4k video, I am not surprised it takes a day.

Go to Nero forums, and ask there what CPU you would need to transcode in "real time".
