I have been considering a gaming laptop for around 1000 euros and I have shortened the list down to an Asus 552VW. There are two models that I'm aware of it, one having a metal lid and another having a plastic lid.

According to a trusted reviews article, the plastic lid was a deal breaker as it was too poor quality to work with and endure, and recommended the metalic model. Separately, take note that the screen/LCD was said to be poor and inconsistent according to the article. Which brought me to researching the metal lid model. However, what I found in the Laptop Mag article is that some points are completely contrasting. Laptop Mag in this case said that the laptop they tested had a very good screen, in contrast to Trusted Reviews article. Take note too they're reviews on the track pad.
Ultimately, any other opinions or recommendations would be appreciated.
