Purchasing a new LAPTOP

I am going to purchase a new Dell Inspiron 7000 7560 (available in India) .
It got Intel i7 7200U processor clocked upto 3.5GHz .
8Gb DDR4 RAM
1TB HDD+ 128GBSSD
Nvidia GeForce 940MX with 4Gb memory.
My main pupose is for coding, entertainment and some gaming(i m not a pro gamer)
Should I go for it?

I suppose it depends on the price compared to other laptops with similar specs.

The i7-7200u CPU should be fine for the average person. A quad core i5 / i7 would be recommended for people who do video editing and hardcore gamers. The nVidia 940mx is considered a mainstream GPU and it should be good enough to play some games at 1080p with medium graphic settings.

Since you are not doing video editing or and you don't seem to have high expectations to play graphically demanding games, then it should be fine... as long as the price seems reasonable to you compared to other laptops with a similar configuration.
