Acer computer....won't turn on plugged in or on battery. Blue light on power button and light bulb icon on front blink 5 times

Unplug AC adapter.
Take the battery out.
Hold power button for 30 seconds.
Plug AC adapter back in and try booting.
If this doesn't change anything, try a different AC adapter.
If this works, shut it down and plug battery back in, and see if it still boots.
