Help laptop work

Solution
So it turns on (hard drive sounds, fans, etc.,) but no display?

Try this... turn the laptop completely off (no power). Connect an external monitor, then turn on the external monitor and finally turn on the laptop.

If you can see your screens fine on the external monitor, then your attached display or the ribbon cable that connects it are the problem.

If you can't see on the external monitor either, then your graphics card/GPU is probably toast and needs replacing (which may require the motherboard be replaced).

NOTE: If the device is still under warranty do not open it up yourself, or you would void the warranty. Instead contact the manufacturer about a repair or replacement.
