how to connect my toshiba 32dt1u tv to my yamaha receiver ns p40

I am trying to connect my tv to my stereo so that I can use my surround sound speakers to play audio from tb programs

NS p40 are just a speaker kit and requires a amp, if you have a amp what is it?

You TV supports HDMI In, Toslink, Digital in, RCA and Component input so you have options open for any amp on the market.
