So I bought a new laptop screen for my Acer aspire e1-510-2500 but when I took it to my tech he said the connector on the screen is too large for my laptop connection. Is there a device I can use to connect both of these together without buying a new screen all together that may not fit again?

Connector? Is he talking about the ribbon cable where it connects it to the display?
If that is the case, you would need an adapter. Otherwise you would have to return that display (should be able to if just got it) then use the money to purchase one with the correct pin connector.
