It should now be connected.

NOTE: If this doesn't work, you may want to reset your modem/router, and then once it is fully loaded again, repeat the above steps.

If this doesn't work, test seeing if your laptop will connect via Ethernet. If so, then your WiFi card may be going. You can either look to replace it/have it replaced, or get an external (plugs in via USB) WiFi card.

Solution
First of all, the title is where you would put a short descritpion (like no internet), then in the thread you put your sentence of the exact problem and anything you have tried thus far. The title field is limited to a certain amount of characters and that is why it is cut off.

So does any other device have wifi?
Does any other device have internet? (WiFi is a connection from the device to the router, the internet is the routers connection to the internet outside the home, thus you can have a good WiFi connection from device to router, but still not have internet due to bad modem, problems with ISP, etc).
What symbol are you refering to?
What laptop?
Have you tried plugging laptop in via wired etherent?
