Hello!

I am looking into buying a preferably 14inch laptop (or possibly 13inch one) that I could use for some light Photoshop editing and occasional 2D AutoCAD drawing.
money: under 1000 euros
everything else - flexible

(Until now I have been using my very old 13,3" DELL (with Pentium Dual Core and 4G RAM) and Photoshop CS3 and AutoCAD 2010 are working relatively ok for how much I need them but it is obviously slow and at time jumpy. I need an upgrade. The point is, I am not a professional graphic designer, nor architect and I do not need heavy stuff. I need a decent screen, portability and a laptop that could last me couple of years.)

14inch size would fit me well, my only concern is that those are mostly business laptops, not really intended for some graphic work, or am I wrong?
I found for example these: https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/notebooks/lenovo+510s+14isk+80tk003gge
(shoot me but i like this design :D ) https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/notebooks/fujitsu+lifebook+e546+250873
and https://www.notebooksbilliger.de/notebooks/acer+swift+3+sf314+51+53tu

what do you think? should i just leave the 14inch laptop idea and switch to 13inch?
any comments/opinions are appreciated!

There are a couple of nice lenovo on Amazon...may be suitable for you

I myself have a 14" laptop (Samsung Q430) that I primarily use for photoshop, it's a bit old but I recently upgraded my ram from 4g to 8gb...could that be an option? Or are you leaning more towards a whole new machine ;)

Hey!
thank you Jen_Sai for your answer!
I have no idea how I managed to overview this tread :bounce:

I am thinking about Lenovo Yoga 710-14ISK - Intel Core i5 6200U with Nvidia GeForce 940MX

My runner up is Dell Inspiron 13 but it doesn't have dedicated graphics (i have no idea if i do really need it at all :??: ) or possibly new Dell Inspiron 15 2 in 1 (because of the weight - i don't actually need 2 in 1 laptop at all :sarcastic: ) but also only integrated graphocs (Intel HD 620)

I have only had the opportunity to see Lenovo Yoga 710 live, Dell I haven't. The screen on Yoga looks really great :) I watched some youtube reviews on Dell Inspiron and based on that, Dell is suppose to have not such a good screen like Yoga :heink:

I would be open for an older model that I can upgrade but they are usually a bit on a heavy side
