I can not get my satellite to reset. holding "0" gives me an error message saying my pc needs to be repaired. Holding "F8" gave me the options to reformat than froze with black screen, I reset laptop and held the "F8" key down nothing happens get a message saying install was interrupted press ok to restart. No matter how many times I press it same message keeps appearing tried to boot from a usb and nothing happens.

Solution
So I finally got the stupid thing to a working point...kinda... went to: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10 I downloaded and install on a usb. This helped me get to the screens and options we have been working too. So it seems my hard-drive became very corrupted. No recovery images were found and Windows startup repair could not work due to missing: Log file: \\?\GLOBALROOT\Device\HarddiskVolume4\Recovery\WindowsRE\Winre.wim\System32\logfiles\SRT\SrtTrail.txt So now I am attempting a custom install, I tried to repair with usb and it failed and tried to install with typical settings and it won't work. Now waiting on the custom option....
How to reset the computer...

Windows 10 actually has a built-in method for wiping your PC, and restoring it to an ‘as new’ state. You can choose to preserve just your personal files or to have it erase everything.

To do this go to "Start", then "Settings". Next choose "Update & security" and then "Recovery" Here click "Get started" and select the option you wish to use. From here just follow the on-screen instructions to restore Windows 10 back to how it was upon leaving the factory.

It will not even boot back to windows. Everytime I restart it it acts like its trying to restart the windows install but gives me the same error message that it was interrupted and needs to restart.

I see, you are stuck in that lovely loop. Try this...

Try turning off your internet before you restart. I know it sounds really odd, but if it is trying to download something, or reinstall something that didn't install correctly the first time, through a download, then it will just keep trying to download over and over, going round and round.

So try turning off either the WiFi or unplug Ethernet (depending on how connected) then restart.

If that doesn't work, try this....

1. Power off the laptop.
2. Power on the laptop.
3. As soon as you see the rotating loading circle, press and hold the Power Button until the computer shuts off.
4. Repeat this process a few times until you see the "Preparing Automatic Repair" screen.
5. Now you want to let the laptop boot to the "Automatic Repair" screen.
6. Click "Advanced Options" and then select "Troubleshoot".
7. Here you want to select "Refresh your PC", if you do not wish to erase data, or "Reset your PC" to erase all data and restore your system.
8. From here just follow the screen instructions until the recovery is completed.

If it is the original image on the laptop than there should be recovery partition on the hdd that can be accessed by pressing F12, which brings up a boot menu. The last option should say HDD Recovery, choose that option and follow the instructions.

Well it took a while but finally got a fresh install of windows 10 and reformatted hard-drive. The hard-drive must have gotten corrupted bad from the first time of installing. Only thing I can think of is that the OS was originally Windows 8. Thanks for the help!!!!
