Cannot connect to the Playstore in one area

Hello, I've been trying to figure out why this only happens in a single area. I got a new phone about 3 weeks ago and went to play Pokemon Go at a park with some friends. When I got there I had a lot of problems logging into the game, if I did finally connect I'd eventually lose connection after a few minutes.

I went back to try and do some troubleshooting and that's when I found out it wasn't a Pokemon Go issue. While I'm in this park, or the area around it, I cannot access the Google Playstore, or add, switch accounts etc. The Playstore opens and then times out, saying to retry. If I try to add a new account the page times out after I put in the email address and I get an error saying there was a problem and to try again.

Everything else works fine. I can make and receive calls and text and I can also browse the internet at 4g speeds. The only things that don't work are the Playstore and since I use a google account to play Pokemon Go, I can't connect to that. I went back today and tried to connect to the wifi at the park, once I was connected I was then able to load the Playstore like normal. After that my friend turned on their hotspot and I connected to that and was able to play.

So any ideas what would make only those specific things not work in this park? I've tried clearing cache/data, factory reset the phone etc. Since it worked once connected to wifi I figured it might just be a mobile connection problem, but wouldn't that cause issues with everything else as well?

Thanks for your time.

That is so specific, you might want to contact google and give them map coords for the location. Its pretty odd that it only blocks the playstore

I assume your friends don't have the same problems? What phone is it?

Yea my friends phones work fine, and everyone else in the park as well. I use Straight Talk with Verizon towers and my old phone was a Galaxy Core Prime and that worked fine. I got a Moto X Pure Edition with a Straight Talk Kit, so new sim + number. So it's got to be a problem on my end somehow, I'm just trying to narrow it down but none of it makes sense. It works fine in every other area I've been to so far.

I figured if it was some kind of security thing from using the same Google account on a new phone that it shouldn't work anywhere. If it was a mobile issue, then other things shouldn't work + my old phone has the same Straight Talk Verizon service and worked there fine.

nah, I don't use the Go+. I saw that moto x article a little earlier. Messed around with some things to no avail. I've also tried to go in and clear/switch apn settings. I guess at this point I'm not going to bother with it anymore. I can always connect to my friends hotspot so that solves the issue in a roundabout way. It's probably going to bug me for a while though not being able to figure it out lol.

Thanks for taking the time to reply though, I appreciate it.
