Hello everyone, I'm going to buy my first laptop and I'm on a tight budget. Mainly I'm going to use this laptop for one of my Uni class that requires us to edit and create films but at the same time I wanna use this laptop for gaming as well.

I'm currently looking at an MIS GP62 2QD LEOPARD
-4th Gen. Intel® Core™ i5 4210 Processor
-NVIDIA GeForce 940M
-2GB DDR3 VRAM
-4GB RAM DDR3 (Sorry I forgot to put this in)

My question is would this laptop be able to run games such as GTA V, Witcher 3, DA:I and the likes? And could you guys recommend better alternatives? Please and Thanks!

Specs for that system state 2GB DDR3 VRAM. That is the amount of memory your graphics card has. It has nothing to do with the amount of system RAM you have; which, by the way, isn't listed. It just states 2 DDR3L-1600MHz, max 16GB. If the system has 16GB of RAM installed, then it's probably ok for your intended school usage. You'll likely need to spend more to get a decent laptop that can play games as well.

Other alternatives will depend on your budget.

Here you go! Sorry I forgot to put this one in, I was in a hurry.

Anyway, I've also had time to look for other laptops. Acer F5 573G-57CZ and an Asus X556uQ-DM394T. All 3 have roughly the same specs.

My budget would be around 700$ or so, not going above 800$.

check out this one (it has 960M)
