I think it will work.... but before I buy splitters and coax just to find out it can't work... Right now I have cable internet that runs into my bedroom where my cable modem is at. We don't pay for TV service but I have an outside TV antenna. The TV antennas go to other rooms and do not run on the same coax. But, I would like to turn my PC that's in my bedroom into a DVR and a media center. So, I was thinking I would put a splitter at the box outside to combine the antenna and cable modem into one coax running to the bedroom. Then in the bedroom, split them again... one coax to the modem and one to the PC with a TV tuner. I think it should work. It's broadband. Both the TV and cable modem should be at completely different bands on the cable. Or am I wrong?

Your reasoning leaves out that these things are not directional. Your cable modem is not going to be happy getting the signal from the antenna into it.
I don't think it will help you anyway since your PC doesn't have an AV output that would work over coax unless you use HDMI over coax adapters. Not cheap and you will need to control the PC remotely too.
Your object in all this is play recorded files from your DVR PC to all the TVs?
You could access and stream those files over WIFI.
A smart TV would have DLNA to do that.
A dumb TV would need a media box or computer to access them.
