Hello people!I am thinking of buying a new gaming headset to replace my old Razer Electra that is worn out.I have 2 questions:
1:Should i get HyperX Cloud or Cloud II?the price difference is small in my country.
2.Will i see improvements over my Razer Electra with a new better headset or i need a soundcard to get better performance?I dont want to spend money and have pretty much the same sound as i had with my Electras. My motherboard is the GA-Z87-HD3 and i dont know if the soundcard on it is enough to give me improvements with a new headset. Also can you recommend me a USB headset at around the same price and performance with the Cloud since my front 3.5mm jack is not the best quality and i have to run an extension directly from the motherboard wich makes my setup messy and a USB headset would solve that problem.

Solution
the soundcard on the cloud 2 has had problems in the past. i would get either the cloud1 or cloud 2 core edition and use your own soundcard. the cloud 1 is almost a direct copy of the gemini hsr1000 / takstar pro80 headphone which is not bad for the price. the cloud 2 further deviates from the headphone a bit but is still not bad. the mic is acceptable but certainly not the absolute best found on headsets.
