my dad got an entire new setup after his last PC was crashed and the firewall got turned off permanently.
Installing the main software on his new computer , the keyboard started typing on its own .
Before freaking out i put the keyboard in my PC and suddenly it sent me to weird random links that didnt work and my screen was bugging. Then i got several pop ups (IN A CHROME TAB)
with clickbait ads.
Like my pc was infected through the keyboard?(corsair k70)

i put it back in his pc without ethernet connection and it worked just fine ,
now i'm here asking you guys what i should do.

Let me mention that my internet connection works alot slower than it should, so i wonder if our devices get infected through the internet connection.
I really need some solid advice because im getting paranoid .
Thanks in advance

Solution
It could be the router that has been infected. Don't get paranoid, and don't worry. Just don't do anything like log in to your accounts while connected to your internet network. Try unplugging the modem/routers for 2-3 minutes and pressing the reset button.

I'd try that dns flush and log into your routers settings and change the password as well as check the dns settings. Download malwarebytes antimalware and get your firewall and antivirus up. Scan with malwarebytes.

I hope this helps :)
