I have a stylo 2 plus that says will use up too a 2 tb sd card. I have been trying for a few wks now to get that to work. I have use external card readers and am able to put about 500 gb of music on a 1 tb sd card. When inserting it into the phone it will not mount it. I have tried mounting the card first and adding the music using the phone attached to my pc to add the music. Seems the prone has a problem after about 32 gb. In addition the music folders installed externally after attempted mounting are empty and the volume is down to about 6gb. When looking at the card via file explorer it shows about 500 gb but nothing seems to work. This was the 3rd phone with the same trouble and my latest phone is in the mail now back to LG. Any insight you have will be appreciated.

You should have paid a fortune to get 500gb SD card...

Most modern phones claim support for "up to 200gb SD cards". If you desperately need on-the-road access to your media, exterlan WiFi hard drives (most of them have streaming options) would be much better alternative.
