Laptop: Acer V3-771
Roughly 3 years old, but has worked faithfully until now.

Story: Last night, I was playing a game of Civilization 6 until midnight and wanted to sleep. So I tried to save and exit the game, but it hard crashed my computer. Seeing as I couldn't do anything I unplugged my laptop and went to bed. In the morning, I turned on my computer and for nearly an hour it was stuck on the Acer bootscreen. I tried multiple troubleshooting methods I found online, such as, unplugging all external devices and booting it up or turning it off and holding the power button for 30 seconds or rapidly turning it off and on 3 times, and none worked. I can access BIOS by pressing F2, but can't boot Safe Mode by pressing F8 or Shift+F8.

Are there any other available methods I can try? Please advise.

I would test the hdd in this case. But since you can't get to safe mode with cmd, you will probably need to take the drive out and connect it to another computer. Then run a hdd test on that computer but select the computer with problem's hard drive instead. Make sure there isn't anything wrong with the hdd.

Actually, I left it on the Acer bootscreen for a few hours prior to posting my question and now it just randomly started to work again. I didn't do anything nor did I see anything change from the Acer bootscreen, it just booted up randomly after waiting for so long. Thank you for replies though.
