I just bought a MacBook Pro retina, late 2013, with 256gb ssd, the top notch fourth gen i7, 8gb ram, it came with Final Cut Pro, Logitech X or whatever it is, Adobe premiere, and Microsoft office. I got it for $900. Is this a good deal!!!????!! How long will it last?

Yeah I'd say thats a pretty good deal. Compared to what you can get on the windows side of laptops, its not as impressive however still a good deal, but a good deal for sure for a macbook. Depends on what you plan to do with it but for amature video editing it should last you a few years and as a web browsing system easily 4-5 years.

Compared to apple standards. Pretty good deal.
Compared to non apple standards aka the whole computer market. It's a meh deal.
Also you are programming so you could,ve come by with a cheap 300$ laptop depending on what you are doing.
As for how long will it last. It's already outdated and will be spec wise not worth much anymore in about 2 years.
