Hello all! My old MSI GT 70 is dying; it's four years old, so as laptops go that's a pretty good run. My budget is very limited, so I realize that getting an equivalent is not really in the cards. Having said that, can I get a decent system for running older games (WOW, Company of Heroes, Civilization V, etc.) for around 350 - 500? There is an HP Pavilion 17z on Black Friday sale right now, but it has an AMD A12 Quad processor and an integrated R7 graphics card. They are double dipping on memory with this system, since the R7 is piggybacking on the overall system memory (12 GB DDR4). I don't know if that is going to be an adequate system for my needs, but it is in my price range. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Heyo Captain Bill

I can't really find a laptop in my country for that kind of price, although the Lenovo IdeaPad 510's are good for the price in Denmark. Their price in USD would be something like $800-900.
This is considered a 'cheap but good laptop', but hopefully it won't cost as much in your country.

Thank you, True Buie. I found an Acer model on sale in my price range that is similar to the Lenovo that you listed except that it has a 256GB SSD instead of the 1TB hard drive.
