Will the 180w power adapter hold back the performance of ROG GL502VS

Greetings everyone!

So I've heard the power adapter issue with Alienware before, and some benchmarks indicate there is performance drops with 180w adapter, since GL502VS also has insufficient power supply with 180w adapter during heavy load, I'm concerned about this.

In general YES, if a computer is starved for power, performance will drop, although the battery should compensate somewhat.

I have one and the battery after a few hours of playing is at 92-95% - ASUS claims it's not damaging anything but I wonder at the life span of the adapter.
