Battery no longer holds a charge and the laptop has to stay plugged in for any type of use. I noticed shortly after purchase the laptop seems to run hot as if the fan is not large enough for it. My question is how do I remove the bottom to replace the battery or is there a different process to go through ie: reset button that I can do to get my battery to work?

Solution
No, you will need to pull the battery and replace it. That said, if the laptop is still under warranty, then you really should contact the manufacturer about a repair/replacement, as opening it up usually will void a warranty. Not something you really want to do.

If it isn't under warranty, then it is up to you if you feel comfortable doing the work or not.
