My laptop got slow after a restart i did less than a week ago. Im not good enough with tech to do more than task managing away the apps i dont use, and running some cleaners that is free. I feel it everywhere it laggs on my spotify when using other apps (sound gets interrupted like u twist the cable but im not twisting the cable at all). Have not been a problem before suddenly now. had it for 1 1/2 year maybe with way above usual activity so its probably way above 1 1/2 years of use.

Solution
Install HWMonitor and check what temps you get. Also run a disk check with dedicated utility, there may be one in the BIOS options, or check what the drive maker is and get their utility to run the test. If you don't have a solid state drive you may want to look into getting one and cloning your existing drive to it.
Is the issue with running programs on the laptop (slow to open, slow to copy files, slow to close programs) or only slow when browsing online? Does it take a long time to start the computer? Any funny sounds from the system, especially from where the hard drive is?

It simply is running every app slowly. it takes a bit longer opening apps and they freeze and just have dropped in fps. example is league of legends, here i had 120+ fps every game no fps drops ever, everything on high in the graphics menu. now i have random freezes, 60 to 10 fps and everything on low. changing settings more or less did nothing to the fps tho. the fan is running at max, it sounds like, but my pc is never really all that hot.
