I recently notice my Luminous Pro 600 600VA UPS -PRO was too/extremely hot.

This ups was used in another room before I moved to my upper room. It was never being like this hot even if I turned on for days (I knew it, I observed it).

The only changed in this upper room was, I installed Luminous Shakti Charge 1100 Inverter for power backup, then connected with my desktop ups. How to avoid this ups heat? I need to use together, both ups and inverter.

Regards
Van

One reason for this could be a bad battery. If a UPS has a bad battery, it will constantly try to recharge it, which creates lots of heat. Plug something into the UPS and see how long it takes to turn off when the UPS is unplugged. If it turns off suddenly of in a few seconds then you have a bad battery.
