Lenovo Y500 indicator lights are very faint and dim?

I just noticed that the led indicators are very dim now. The center light is still ok though, but as you go to its next sides the lights gradually become very faint you won't notice it in a well-lit area.

If there are no other issues with the laptop, other than the indicator lights being dim, then it isn't something you really need to worry about. It is completely possible that the laptop will work completely even when the indicator lights are not working.
