Well, first I would look into if everything on the hard drive is actually stuff you want to keep/use. Computers accumulate a lot of junk. Between leftovers from uninstalled programs, browser caches, etc., the stuff adds up.
Should those changes not give you enough storage space, then your only other option would be using external drives. As everything I have found on your device says that the hard drive (and most of that laptops components) are not replaceable/exchangeable. Bad design on HPs part.
