Computer shutdown unexpectedly

My toshiba satellite c55 shutdown whenever i am typing in the word document. I called the support center , and i was told to remover the battery, hold the power button for 20 secs and turn it on again. The computer started running for 10 minutes . when i started typing again it stut down again , like before. Any expert support or help.

Hello.

When you have a shutdown, start from the beginning. Play around with your power connector. Does the laptop shutdown if your wriggle it a little? If yes, it's the charger or the DC jack.

Next, if it doesn't shut down, are your fans spinning rapidly? If yes, this may be due to overheating. Use a program such as Speedfan or hwmonitor to check your temperatures.

If the temps are normal, then it may be software related. Check for any malware with your antivirus or with an app such as malwarebytes or adwcleaner.

Did you use those programs to check it? What was your recorded temps? Anything above 65-70C is not good.

If you incorrectly installed CCleaner and it possibly came with malware, then I suggest doing a scan with Malwarebytes:
