I have been using an Outback camera to film wildlife, viewing the resulting pictures/videos on my PC, but lately theypics wont download and a pop-up box with the messageClass not registered appears. Has anyone got any ideas/views as to why this should suddenly happen and how can I change it ? Thanks in advance. Nuenall

Solution
Usually this happens because Windows 10 changed the default image viewer. Seriously annoying. To fix try one of the following...

Option 1...

1. Click on "Windows" icon on the bottom left in tool bar and then select "all apps".

2. Scroll down and Click on the "Windows System" drop down menu

3. Now click on "Default Programs" with the settings icon and change the default program for "Photo Viewer" from "TWINUI" to "Windows Photo Viewer" or another program of your choosing.

Option 2...

1. If the former doesn't work. Locate the file type you wish to change the association for.

2. Right click on it and then choose "Properties".

3. You should see a section, in the "General tab" that says "Opens With". Click the "Change" button next...

Well, say I am amazed and grateful to you all for the speed and in depth reply to my query is putting it lightly. As I have only just logged on to check my Emails, I wont have time till later to try your tips, but I will do as you suggest and let you know how successful I have been.
Just a by note, your opening comment about Windows changing the settings is exactly when I started having problems so I would agree with you it is down to Windows.
Thanking you again for your prompt help, I will follow your advice when I return home.
