Hey, my friend just booted up his computer, and his display is filled with these "holes." He has tried restarting his computer already to no avail. Any tips? Image should be below.

If the image doesn't show up, use this link: http://tinypic.com/r/ir86lx/9

Hello. Is that a screenshot of the desktop or a photo you took with a camera. If it's a screenshot...something is definitely off with windows. Check for malware and scan your disk for errors. (Right click on the Start Menu-> Select Command Prompt (administrator) -> In the black box, type:
sfc /scannow

If it is a photo, then I suggest you try changing either your RAM or your video card. First, try removing one RAM card and trying the computer again. Try with another card after if with the same issue.
If the RAM seems okay, change the video card, or use the onboard graphics.

Sorry for taking so long to respond, but yes, that is a screenshot, not a photo from a camera. My friend already ran multiple virus scans with AVG, but I will reccomend him to use your method and also malwarebytes, I will give you the results.

It can't be the screen....that's a screenshot. ^^; Screenshots are taken directly from the video card buffer sent to the screen.

It can still be the video card though. What video card do you use? Onboard graphics or a discrete video card?
