I have some JBL headphones (i.e. JBLE40BT) and a Toshiba TV (32DT2U). I'm trying to connect these bluetooth haedphones to this TV. I bought a converter (i.e. Insignia Optical/Coax Digit-to-Analog Converter), but could not get it to pair. I connected a yellow cable to the Toshiba TV digital audio ("Out") port to the coaxial (In) of this converter. I then connected the red and white cables to the audio ("In") of the converter to a Logitech Bluetooth Audio Adapter RCA ports. At this point I followed the pairing process, but with no success. Any suggestions on how to provide sound to these bluetooth headphones will be appreciated. Thanks ! ! !

Hello.

The logitech bluetooth adapter is not what you need for this application. It cannot output sound to a wireless headphone such as the JBLE40BT. It can only output sound to external speakers connected directly on the adapter.

I know no solution to make this work, as these headphones do not have APTx or NFC to pair directly with a transmitter. They are intended to use with a phone, tablet or laptop, and need to be paired manually. If you can find a bluetooth transmitter, with 3,5mm or RCA inputs, that will pair with them, then you can plug them on your TV set.
