My samsung tv has an error (my model is 55d8000 )

Hello,
When I turn on the tv it restarts at least a couple of times and then the upper area of the screen is less lighted then the rest.
what is the reason for that?

Hello.

Sadly, this means your LED backlight has failed. It will need to be replaced. This is usually very costly, and I suggest buying another TV rather.

LCD screens need a backlight. Modern LCDs use a LED backlight system, but they usually overheat because of bad designs or bad stock after a few years. No brand is completely free of this issue atm.
