I'm looking for a very affordable laptop, I would just go by another answer but I need something cheap and for WRITING, I'm big into writing honestly, Writing in photography.

I need something with memory, and it has to be light and have a good battery..

I want something thats easy to start up as well, nothing that takes an hour.

Any suggestions?

Gonna need a bit more info like what do you consider "light", what budget you are working with and do you definitely want a laptop with a SSD rather than a hard drive. A laptop with a hard drive would generally take between 45 seconds to 60 seconds to boot up. A laptop with a SSD can boot up in about 15 seconds; really fast (and expensive) SSDs should be able to boot up in less than 10 seconds.

Here's something to work with as a starting point. The Acer Aspire E 15 E5-575-33BM for $350.

+ i3-7100u - More than enough for everyday usage.
+ 1080p screen - The more you can see on the screen the better. Seems to be a good screen for a budget laptop, but don't expect to do photo editing on it and expect good color accuracy...

+ 4GB of RAM - Not a lot, but it is cheap and easy to install another stick of 4GB DDR4 RAM.
+ 1TB hard drive - Plenty of storage capacity, but slow read / write speeds in comparison to a SSD will make a laptop feel a bit sluggish.
+ 5.27lbs - Light enough to carry I suppose, but there are lighter laptops out there.
+ 12 Hour battery life - Manufacturer stated battery life is typically based on highly optimal conditions where very little power is being consumed. Such as idling with a very dim screen. User reviews (written and videos) pegs the battery life with "Average Usage" to be 7 to 8 hours.
