Hello... Yes... not being able to get into your BIO's OR to check any settings... but it is not a total "bricked" system... so I suggest the CMOs Clear next.

Take your time here and be slow and careful to your MB... look in your MB manual/Pdf for pictures and location of the SW/pins. B )
1) un-plug PS from wall.
2) remove MB battery
3) place jumper pins OR push switch on MB to clear the capacitors... for ~2 mins
4) remove Jumper/switch connection.
5) re-install battery
6) plug monitor into the MB or video card output. (if you have a MB/CPU GPU, it will default to them, after a CMOS clear)
7) plug in PS to wall
8) Boot computer.

Hello... 1) I would try and clear the CMOS and see if that helps B /

2) You can make bootable media and do a MB flash Utility that way... but your support site doesn't show the option... I would contact them and see if they have a non-windows ( DOS ) version install for you... that would be my next step B /

The bios update may of completed successfully Ali.

But by installing a new bios update or a firmware revision to the laptop Ali.
It will set all of the settings of the laptops bios back to default settings Ali.

It means you will have to enter the bios.
And for the Hard drive interface mode re select Ahci mode.
Then for the boot order of devices make sure that the HD or SSD drive of the laptop is set to number 1 in the boot order list ok.

Save the changes you have made in the bios before you exit it.
You may also have to set the real time clock in the bios to the correct time, and also the day, month and year Ali.
So make sure you check if it needs changing or is correct.

If windows does not load or Ali.

It begins to load, and then stops mid way in loading then it is because the wrong mode for the hard disk or ssd of the laptop is set wrong as said.

You have three modes to choose from for the sata ports of the laptop.

IDE, Ahci, Sata, and may also have a Raid mode option.
But set the Sata interface type, mode to Ahci as the selection as said and make sure you save the changes before you exit the bios.

You should then be able to load windows up to the login screen, or reach the windows desktop Ali without any problems ok..

Every fresh bios install, upgrade, or upgrade of the bios firmware will always revert the bios back to its factory default settings where the wong mode is set fo the sata interface for hard drives, and the boot order is reset.
And why you need to make sure the boot drive is set to number 1 in the boot order list of the bios Ali.

If the laptop was bricked Ali then you would not even see the Dell logo splash screen showing when you turned you laptop on, and it would not even attempt to load windows at all.

It is just the fact that the wrong type of mode is selected for the Sata interface in your bios due to a factory reset of the bios after the bios update.

Hope it helped ;)
