I'm really interested in this laptop as it's a cheaper alternative to the XPS 13 but I can't seem to find any reviews online

Solution
Probably because that series of laptops were announced in mid-September and are only currently available in China. There is no information if and when it will be released internationally.

No wonder. All I see are unboxing videos from India. The specs seem great, and the only difference from the XPS line are the internal memory, battery life, and lack of usb c ports (which i don't need). Might just take a dip and buy it :)

i have purchased the laptop on the day when it was launched in India and it is very fast and smooth. Battery backup is good, although i have not used it for a long period of time. Also both RAM and SSD are upgradable. RAM is upgradable upto 16 GB ( although the RAM is DDR4 with 2400 Mhz speed and hard to find. Search for SKHynix H5AN8G8NAFR model to be specific). Good choice for me as it offers a compact 13-inch body with 14 inch bezeless screen. Have bought a Samsung Evo M.2 SSD 250 GB for 8000 and with that, buying this laptop is much more econmical than buying XPS 13, which cost above 1 Lakh is India.

Did it come with 128GB M.2 SSD and i7 7500U processor? If so, how much did it cost? Also please mention your take on the quality of the keyboard, display brightness and any problems you noticed..

Just got the Dell Inspiron 7460 from a local retailer here in the Philippines for Php 38,000 (approx. USD 760)

Initial impressions:
Pros:
- love the screen. It's gorgeous. Those thin front and side bezels are just cool. :)
- small for a 14 inch laptop
- Like the keyboard. Tactile and travel are okay
- the 128 GB SSD + 500 GB Memory Combo is great! Start up is fast. I already changed the location of the main folders (Docs, Music, Videos, Downloads, Pictures, etc) to the secondary drive. The 128GB will solely be for apps and the OS.
- Love the design. Those chamfered edges make it look classy and expensive.

Cons
- that bottom bezel is quite thick. But I don't really mind it that much. They have to put the camera somewhere.
- the matte, rubbery finish might accumulate dust and grime in the long run.
- a little heavy, but manageable.

Got it at a store in Greenhills. It was their last stock for now. I was lucky. Most of the stores were selling it at 39k for cash.

Where did you get yours? Any freebies included?

Got it for 600 USD in Mexico, a bargain I think. 14 7460, 128 ssd 1 TB HDD, 16 GB ram i7 7500u.

I already opened it to check how upgradeable it is... turns out it is easy to upgrade, it has 2 ddr4 slots but only one is used with 16gb card, so I can go and buy another 16gb module for a total of 32 gb, no need to change the already installed memory, thats nice.

128 ssd is M2 and easy to upgrade, 120usd gets you a 256gb unit, so I may upgrade that later. HDD is 1TB and also easy to upgrade.

Battery... right now I have 95% battery, lowest brightness, wifi on and it shows... 11:45 hours battery life... I have tested it and it last at least 6 hours on youtube, netflix etc.

display is indeed a little warm, no yellowish, but a little warm, I have learned to live with it since it tis almost impossible to get a cooler (bluish) display every time I get a new machine.

Awesome machine, specially for the price I got it.

whant to know something else? Let me know.

I've heard louder laptops. I'd say this is somewhere in the middle or upper middle. When you max out the sound it doesnt get tinny. The Maxx Audio helps in managing distortion.
