Toshiba satellite.
Will not Work or Charge at All .
Have checket, that power arrive to the motherboard.
If i insert a charged battery, the laptop Works ok until emty.
Have opened a battery to try to connect the Charger directly to the Slot connector, but there are a lot of Electronic hardware inside.
How can i power my laptop directly to the battery Slot? I do not want to change and Charge battery al the time

Solution
Driver can get corrupted or incompatibility if you upgraded to windows 10.
Could be that it can recognize the battery but still be messed up so it wont charge it correctly.

Do you have another battery to try? If the detection in the battery itself went bad then you could have this problem

Admit-idly the driver is more of a long shot at this point but its worth a shot when your most likely only fix is a full motherboard replacement.
There is a lot more to it then just wiring the power and ground of the charger to the battery. First of all it is unlikley that the battery even takes the straight 19v (or whatever your AC adapter outputs), and then your computer has circuitry to trickle charge it after the battery gets full otherwise you will damage it.

Bottom line you cant just solder some wires to direct connect the charger to the battery.

If you are savy enough, you can disassemble the laptop and use a miltimeter to test if the dc jack has a broken connection at the motherbaord but outside of that your only real option is to replace the motherboard (which typically costs more then the value of the laptop).

Thanks
I have already disassembled the laptop, and as far I could measure, the jack was ok. and the power as well to the main points of power to the motherboard. But the laptob wouldnt power up or charge.
When I insert a well external charged battery, the laptop works untill empty.
When I connect the battery through wery thin electric wires (so that there are space enough to insert the battery in the laptop) , fully charge the battery and afterwords inserting it in the laptop while charging, Then the laptop works fine untill the battery is empty - and first when I take out the battery from the laptop, the battery begins to charge up again.
So, there must be some communication between the battery and the laptop resulting in some hindering af the charging.
Using the contents of a dismantled battery with connector and electric components I had the idea in one way or another could be adjusted to the purpose?
